Privacy Policy

What PROSCORE is. PROSCORE is a tool your child's Academy uses to record how your child plays a sport — statistics, game and practice actions, coach evaluations, photos and video, and event schedules.

Where the information comes from. Almost all of it is entered by adults — coaches, Academy administrators, and you — not by your child. Your child usually does not use PROSCORE at all.

Who can see it. By design, you see your own child's information, and the Academy's coaches and staff see the players they work with. Some sharing surfaces are public: if someone with the right permission creates a share link to a highlight clip or a broadcast page, anyone holding that link can open it without logging in. Treat any link you receive as though it could be forwarded to anyone.

What we do not do. We do not use your child's information to advertise to them, and we do not sell your child's information.

Responsibility is split, and the split matters for your rights. For most day-to-day data — profiles, stats, evaluations, media, events, communications — the Academy decides what is collected and how it is used, and PROSCORE acts on the Academy's behalf. For partner integrations that PROSCORE operates itself, PROSCORE is the primary decision-maker.

Where the customer is a K-12 school or a university, additional student-privacy rules apply and a separate institutional agreement governs.

This policy covers the PROSCORE website at proscore.io and the application at app.proscore.io. It describes the personal information we and Academies handle about players (most of whom are minors), parents, coaches, administrators, and recruiters.

• Child / player — the athlete, who usually does not use the app. Where a child login exists, the highest-privacy settings apply by default.
• Parent / guardian — views and edits the child's core profile; sees evaluations, stats and events shared to them; holds the recruiter-discoverability toggle; approves purchases; sets spending controls; exercises the rights in Section 11.
• Coach — enters stats, evaluations and comments; manages media and events for their teams.
• Administrator — configures Academy-level settings such as chat, recruiter access, and video retention.
• Recruiter — sees a child's profile only where both the parent's discoverability toggle and the Academy's recruiter-access switch permit it.
• Account / team owner — full or team-scoped access to the data they own.

• Account and identity — adult name, email, phone, avatar, bio; child first and last name, date of birth, age, gender, jersey number, and a generated player code. Used to create and operate accounts, gate by age, and link families.
• Education — school name and grade, for team and roster context.
• Physical — height, position, jersey number, for the player profile.
• Performance and evaluation — logged in-game actions, practice ratings, attribute and skill scores, report cards, and coach-written narrative comments.
• Photographs, video, and audio — player photos, game video and highlight exports, and live broadcast video with watch pages.
• Event location — event addresses and map pins tied to a scheduled event.
• Commerce — payment-processor customer and subscription identifiers where a paid feature is used.
• Website analytics — aggregate, cookie-free page-view statistics on proscore.io, collected only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
• Contact forms — the name, email, phone, message, and reason you submit so we can respond.

Retention periods per data class are to be confirmed. Video is purged according to the retention period the Academy configures. We will publish specific periods for the remaining classes before this policy takes effect rather than state a period the business has not set.

Precise event locations tied to a named child on a specific date are treated as sensitive personal information. We limit who can see them and are narrowing where they appear on unauthenticated pages.

PROSCORE is designed for adults to use on behalf of children. Where a child account is offered to a child under 13, it may exist only after verifiable parental consent. A parent may review, correct, or delete their child's information and may withdraw consent at any time.

Media of a child is used to operate the Service for the Academy and the family. It is not used for advertising or third-party promotion without separate, specific parental consent. A parent may revoke media permission going forward; links already distributed publicly may persist beyond our control.

We use automated processing for tasks such as cropping photos and assembling highlight clips. Automated processing does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about a child.

We rely on service providers for hosting, payments, calendar integration, AI processing, and account lifecycle. A published subprocessor list is to be confirmed. Providers are permitted to use the data only to provide services to us.

We use access controls scoped by role and Academy, encrypted transport, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure. You may request deletion of your family's data; some deletion currently reaches the records we can remove automatically, and a full cascade to every derived record is still being built.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or limit the use of personal information, and to withdraw consent. Use the Support link in the site footer to make a request. We will confirm your identity and your relationship to the child before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

For website analytics specifically: analytics only runs after you click "Accept analytics" in the consent banner, and you can reset that choice by clearing site data for proscore.io in your browser.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this policy; the effective date at the top will change and material changes affecting a child's data may require fresh parental consent. Privacy contact details are to be confirmed — until then, use the Support link in the site footer.
